Issue:
Error message showing "PC-EFTPOS in use (No operator specified); wait for availability"
Fix:
The folder you are looking for is this one (on customer service PC desktop): \\auth-apps\eftpos\Terminal1
The only file that should be found here are:
DosToActiveX.exe
When a transaction occurs a .evt and .unl file will briefly populate this folder, however as soon as the transaction completes these files should move (actually copy and delete) themselves to the .\archive folder.
When this doesn’t happen due to whatever reason you get the situation you described.
Simply go to this folder and attempt to move the files into the .\archive folder
If that does not work (because the files have already been copied there as part of the automated process) simply delete any .evt and .url files in the .\Terminal1 folder.
Do not delete DosToActiveX.exe file.
